There were tears last night after two Harrow residents learned their fate in a TV talent show.
Rachel Hylton, from Stanmore, found out she was through to the live shows of ITV's The X Factor after having a difficult time singing in front of judge Dannii Minogue. The mother-of-five sobbed as she was told she was through.
However for 4 Instinct, a group of four singing siblings, their journey in the show came to an end. The teenagers who were labelled "the cutest band ever' by the judges did not make it through to the final 12. As reported in last week's Observer the band's mother Barbara Miller, from Rayners Lane, believed they could make it to the top.
She said: "They're a young group and they're not professionals, but they have the X Factor."
