THIEVES made off with a lorry full of wood after raiding a farm in Harefield.
The theft took place at Bourne Farm in Breakspear Road North in the early hours of yesterday.
A white 3.5 tonne Mitsubishi tipper truck which had been securely parked was taken.
Around the time the lorry was taken, cows were let out from a neighbouring field, which was possibly a deliberate distraction by the thieves.
A Harefield resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: "This was obviously a well planned raid, it would have to be, a whole lorry full of wood was taken."
