Two women who were due to appear in court today accused of conspiring to traffic women into the UK for prostitution from an address in Hounslow have had their case adjourned.

Sonia Goman, who turned 34 today, and Anna Graj, 30, are both charged with conspiracy to traffic into the UK for sexual exploitation and conspiracy to control prostitution.

The two women, both of Bath Road, Hounslow, were due to appear at Southwark Crown Court this afternoon (Friday, May 30) for a plea and case management hearing, but the case has been adjourned until next Tuesday (June 3).

They were arrested after police rescued a Polish woman who had allegedly been forced into prostitution from a property in Hounslow in February this year.

Two men, aged 30 and 44, were also arrested on suspicion of the same offences at the time. They were both bailed.

Police revealed following the raid that 46 prostitutes had been identified working in Hounslow during the last year and a half.
