A WOMAN is hoping her busty take on Mo Farah's 'Mobot' - the 'boobot' - can help give Breakthrough Breast Cancer a big lift.

Farah Idris, who shares a name with Hounslow's double Olympic champion, took inspiration from his celebrated pose which swept the nation last summer.

She created the boobot, formed by linking your hands to create the outline of a bra, to help raise awareness of, and generate funds for, Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

The PA, who lives in Ferndale Avenue, Hounslow West, has even created her own fundraising day, Brarch Day, on March 8.

She wants as many people as possible to show their support for the charity by wearing decorated bras to work on that day in exchange for sponsorship.

She has already taken or been sent more than 200 snaps of people doing the boobot, which she hopes will one day become synonymous with breast cancer.

She has also created her own song and dance - the 'boobot boogie', set to Kylie Minogue's Locomotion - which involves swinging your hips in a figure of eight.

"It's pure coincidence I share a name with Mo Farah. I just thought everyone recognises the Mobot and I wanted to create something that symbolises breast cancer, like the pink ribbon, to help raise awareness," said Ms Idris.

"I've been amazed by the interest it's already generated. There's a real buzz about it and I've sent a copy of the song to Kylie in the hope she might perform it."

Ms Idris is no stranger to charity fundraising. She ran the London Marathon last year and in 2011 conquered her fear of heights to scale Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Hope for Children.
