The body of a woman has been found after a fire at a home in Cowley.

The body of a woman has been found after a fire at a home in Cowley.

Firefighters attended the address in Clayton Way, Cowley just after midnight today (Monday).

A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said: "Part of the ground floor was damaged in the fire and sadly the body of a woman was found at the scene.

"Four fire engines from Southall, Hayes, and Hillingdon fire stations went to the scene with 21 firefighters and officers.

"The cause of the fire in under investigation."
