Police have appealed for witnesses after a woman was allegedly subjected to homophobic abuse at The Honeycombe pub in Hounslow.

The woman was outside the pub in Staines Road, on the decking area, when she claims to have been verbally abused by a man on Sunday, September 7 at approximately 4pm.

Police said a 36-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident and bailed to return for questioning late next month.

Detective Constable Jacqulin McHayle, of Hounslow Police , said: "A woman has been left traumatised by what happened that day. We are keen to speak to anyone who was at the pub when the incident happened and is able to assist us with this investigation."
