At the foot of page 3 of the Gazette dated February 20 is an item headlined 'Orbital rail gets funds green light'.
It said that the extension to the East London line will complete the suburban circuit which runs through South Acton and Acton Central.
This is incorrect: it will complete the circuit from Clapham Junction through Imperial Wharf (under construction), West Brompton, Kensington Olympia and Shepherd's
Bush to Willesden Junction and onwards through North London.
At present it is unclear whether the trains will run through from South London to North London, requiring a reversal at Clapham Junction, or whether through passengers will have to change trains there.
