It will be a case of Jungle Bells when former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here star David Van Day kicks off festivities at a winter fair this week.

The ex-Dollar singer will perform 80s hits with his wife Sue Moxley at the Northolt attraction's opening on Wednesday (December 10).

He will be joined at the SKLP Site, in India Gardens, West End Road, by ex-EastEnder and Dancing On Ice star Matt Lapinskas, ex-Corrie hunk Adam Rickitt, boxer Joe Calzaghe, former Blue singer and Big Brother star Lee Ryan, former Another Level singer Dane Bowers, soap stars Danny Boy Hatchard, Tony Discipline and Louise Bradshaw, and TV presenter Jeff Brazier. Other celebrities are also expected.

All money raised on the night will be donated to the Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation, University College Hospital in London, Curerett.org and the Showmen’s Children’s Charity.

Organiser Robert Wheatley, 41, who lives in the Hillingdon borough, said: “We’re delighted for all the support with this event, from the celebrities who are attending to the stallholders and fair workers who are giving all of their proceeds from the launch day to charity."

He added: "These are all charities close to my heart. A few years ago a close relative broke his back in a terrible accident, which is why we’re supporting Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation. I have an eight year-old daughter and run a children’s play centre so am a strong supporter of the work of the children’s charities that we’re raising money for.

“That’s why we’ve laid on free parking, free entry and a free Santa’s grotto – to make it easier for people to come and support these really special causes.”

The attraction will remain open until December 27, featuring a funfair with bumper cars, traditional Waltzers, Victorian Galloping Horses and a children's corner home to Thomas the Tank Engine, Alice's Tea Cups and swinging chairs.

Food and drink stalls will serve Indian and Chinese food as well as novelty gingerbread biscuits, chocolate fondue and other seasonal treats.

The fair will open at 12pm on Wednesday (December 10), with the charity night kicking off at 4pm.
