The Harrow Observer has teamed up with World Snooker to offer two lucky readers a pair of tickets to the semi-finals of The Masters at Wembley Arena.

This season's championship runs for a week starting on Sunday and and is set to feature all of snooker's top 16 players plus two wild cards.

Snooker luminaries Ronnie O'Sullivan, Stephen Hendry, John Higgins, Shaun Murphy and defending champion Mark Selby will be among those battling for the trophy in snooker's most prestigious invitation event.

Regarded as one of world snooker's premiere tournaments, the Masters has been a regular fixture on the snooker calendar since 1975, and has been staged at the Arena since 2007.

Janet Viazzani, Managing Director for Wembley (London) Ltd, said: "Mark Selby beat Stephen Lee in the final last year but he'll have to be even better if he's to stop Ronnie O'Sullivan taking back the trophy.

"And when you throw in the likes of Stephen Hendry, John Higgins, Stephen Maguire and Shaun Murphy, the 2009 Masters look set to be one of the most exciting competitions in the world."
