Barbara Reid, the campaign manager for the Brentford and Isleworth Tory candidate, suggests that we should 'discuss the real issues of policy that concern local people' (Letters, Chronicle, October 23).
What a good idea! Perhaps I can start the ball rolling.
I am an animal lover and I would be very interested to know what the stance of the Conservative candidate is on the issue of fox hunting.
Most people in the Brentford and Isleworth constituency oppose a return to this cruel, medieval 'sport' (and they know exactly where the Labour MP Ann Keen stands on the issue - after all, she voted to abolish it).
However, news reports indicate that David Cameron may be preparing to put aside parliamentary time in order to bring it back. It is also thought likely that he would start a nationwide badger cull.
So, where does the Brentford and Isleworth Conservative candidate stand on these issues? Surely people have the right to know.
