An inspirational Westminster public speaking teacher has been singled out for an award.

Since 2006, Caroline Clark, 50, has trained over 1200 year 10 students from schools in Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea as part of Jack Petchey's 'Speak Out' challenge. The 550-school competition is the biggest public speaking competition in the world.

Ms Clark, who won the 'trainer of the year award', said: "Winning this award is a testament to what I see happening at each training. I am so motivated by the affect our training has on the lives of those students and also the teachers who see their students blossom."
