West Thames College fashion, music, dance and design students showed off their skills at an 'extravagant costume exhibition'.

The Grade II-listed Spring Grove House provided a spectacular backdrop for the display of works by creative arts students.

Make-up pupils organised a costume and character show of Pre-Raphaelite art, inspired by a stained-glass window from that era in the building.

The Winter Garden was used by performing arts students to stage songs and dances from the 1920s, complete with flapper girls, jazz singers and even Charlie Chaplin.

And college hairdressing students bagged a top award at a national competition in Blackpool.
