OUTRUNNING zombies is the aim of a hugely-popular live action adventure game coming to Wembley that allows players to star in their very own immersive horror drama.

It is called 2.8 Hours Later - Survival and involves teams roaming the streets trying to collect supplies while being hunted down by actors dressed convincing as the living dead who try to 'infect' them by marking them with invisible ink.

Using a special smartphone map app, players will need to leave 'Asylum' and take to the streets to complete various missions while dodging zombies and encountering police officers and Government agents.

Game developer Slingshot said there will be six games beginning at 7pm over three days in Wembley on April 24, 25 and 26 and again on May 1, 2 and 3 and tickets are available now.

The hugely popular game - whose plot tips its hat to films such as 28 Days Later, Shaun Of The Dead and Zombieland - descends on Cardiff in April and all six games there are already sold out.

Extras playing members of the undead attend a Zombie School beforehand to learn the updated rules and perfect their groaning, stumbling and thousand-yard stare.

n Tickets range from £35 to £45 over three tiers and can be bought at 2.8hourslater.com
