After the floods of recent weeks the water is starting too recede. The Grand Union Canal Coppermill Lane, Harefield, near the Coy Carp. The water levels are down but the water is still flowing with speed.

One thing is for certain - flood damage this winter is going to going to cost a fortune.

From helping flood victims to draining submerged houses and building future flood defences, the bills are mounting.
