Just a short verse for your poetry-loving readers.

Busily Idle

I go out in the morning 'Cos I'm up with the lark;

Take a light breakfast, Then a stroll round the park.

I amble around Without worry or care Enjoying the sights And the healthy fresh air.

Then once back indoors You can always find me Solving a crossword With a nice cup of tea.

A couple of biscuits I'll leisurely munch, And there I will sit 'Til it's time for my lunch.

When I've eaten my fill I'll relax in a chair Soothed by the melodies Playing over the air.

Very soon it will be Time for my tea, Then my whole evening's taken up Watching TV.
