I AM calling on everyone in Harrow to take part in Macmillan Cancer Support's Mad Hatters' Walk along the Thames Pathway.

People of all ages will enjoy the fantastic riverside walk, starting from either Putney or Westminster. The final destination will be the Horniman Pub at Hay's Galleria. Along the way, walkers will enjoy the varied views which make London's riverside so famous. It will be a fascinating and healthy way to have fun with family and friends, young and old alike.

We would like you to make a hat to wear on the day and join in our cat competition. There is a fantastic first prize to be won. By stepping out and supporting us, you'll be helping us to raise money for vital services for people living with cancer

The event is open to all - the more the merrier! Entry is £5 per adult and it's free for children under 16. To take part, readers should call 020 8563 9699 to register over the phone.

If readers can't make it to the Mad Hatters Walk they can do their own charity walk in aid of

Macmillan - visit our website at www.macmillan.org.uk/walkwonders to find out how to organise one.
