Famous footballer Vinnie Jones, now the hard man of films, has challenged a lotto winner to fight him for £500,000, which if he wins will go to Harefield Hospital and a charity for injured soldiers.

Mr Jones famously donated his £30,000 fee for the film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, to Harefield Hospital, where his wife Tanya, had a heart transplant more than 15 years ago.

Mikey Carroll, who won £9.7m in 2002, has a part in a new film, called Jack Said, in which it is predicted he could be the next Vinnie Jones.

Mr Jones is so offended by the comparison he has challenged him to a bare-knuckle brawl.

If Mr Carroll picks up the gauntlet, we will just have to hope the Harefield nurses are standing by!
