As reports of widespread ice for west London come out people in the borough fear that flooding that has somewhat subsided will return this weekend.

Weather reports suggest Friday will start off dry but wind and heavy rain will soon spread across the borough and severe gales are expected overnight into Saturday morning.

A flood warning remains in place on the Colne River in West Drayton and the Environment Agency explained the ground is saturated, so rivers are sensitive and could rise in response to further rainfall.

Reader Jeff Gleeson sent in this video of how flooding has affected Moorhall Road in Harefield.
