A WOMAN and a man injured in a stabbing at a Harrow home remain in hospital.

Paramedics were called at 9.30pm yesterday to reports of a stabbing at a property in Hindes Road and took the pair, who are believed to be in their 30s, to hospital.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the woman is in a "critical but stable" condition and the man is in a "serious but stable" condition.

Officers have not commented on the circumstances of the incident, which was initially described by police as an "assault".

Neighbours were shocked at the incident, which forced Harrow Police to seal off part of Hindes Road at its junction with Headstone Road, and reported a body being removed from a house under a blood-stained sheet.
