SOUTHALL came alive in a burst of colour and celebration during the annual Vaisakhi parade yesterday.

SOUTHALL came alive in a burst of colour and celebration during the annual Vaisakhi parade yesterday.

Tens of thousands of people converged on the town centre as part of the Sikh religious festival, complete with a grand procession.

Under beautiful blue skies, the procession began at Gurdwara in Havelock Road at midday before ending up at Park Avenue at around 5pm.
