Uxbridge swimming pool closed

Uxbridge swimming pool at the sports and leisure complex off Gatting Way was closed on Monday lunchtime.

The complex is run by Fusion on behalf of Hillingdon Council.

Fusion sources have said there was 'some kind of accident' which required major cleaning up. The pool reopened at 4pm.

No further details were given either by the council or Fusion.
