An Uxbridge man arrested in raids across West London led by anti-terrorism police has been set free.

Known only as ‘C’, the 25-year-old was detained along with three other men as officers, many of them armed, swooped at addresses in Uxbridge, Hayes, Southall, Hounslow, and Greenford, and in High Wycombe in Bucks.

The other three – aged 19, 22, and 27 – remain in custody. Warrants for their further detention were issued on Thursday, November 13, a week after the men were arrested on suspicion of ‘being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism, contrary to section 40(1)(b) of the Terrorism Act 2000.

No further details of ‘C’ or his address have been released by police.
