Budding young actors and actresses will have the opportunity to develop their skills, as a new children’s drama school is set to open in Acton .

Perform is a new type of children’s drama school, which focuses on child development using a unique mix of drama, dance and singing, starting on September 29.

The school, for ages four to seven, hopes to bring out every pupil’s true potential by keeping the classes small, to ensure everyone receives individual attention.

The company are delighted to be based at the new location, Ark Priory Primary Academy in Acton lane.

Perform Principal Lucy Quick said: “We are incredibly excited about opening in W3. Parents have been asking us to open locally for ages and we have a fantastic venue and have found some brilliant teachers to lead the workshops.”

The school opened in 2000 with just four children in Primrose Hill and have now expanded their workshops across London through popular demand, currently teaching more than 5,000 pupils.

They are offering all children a free drama workshop at the new site, for the chance to see whether they would like to sign up to the classes.

Classes will run on Mondays from 4pm- 5pm and 5pm- 6pm. Call 0845 400 4000 or email pr@perform.org.uk for more information.
