Three men have been jailed after storming into a house with firearms  and carrying out a 'terrifying ordeal' while the female victim was in the bedroom calling the police.

Rodville Lloyd, 62, of Dagmar Avenue, Wembley was sentenced to 11 years in jail alongside Jermaine Mitchell, 39, of Avenue Road, Harlesden who received 10 years imprisonment after being found guilty at Wood Green Crown Court on Friday last week (October 31).

The third accomplice was Sacha Corsini, 40, of Golborne Road, London who was also jailed for 10 years.

The court heard that in May this year the victim, a 45 year-old woman, was at home in Mount Pleasant Road, Haringey when she heard people break into her flat.

JAILED: Rodville Anthony Lloyd from Wembley was sentenced to 11 years imprisonment.

As she was calling police, Lloyd, Corsini and Mitchell burst into her bedroom with firearms.

Lloyd disconnected the call and held a gun to her head while demanding money, the others started to search the room.

Corsini and Mitchell ran from the property as police were arriving, Lloyd remained in the property and was detained by police. Corsini was detained nearby, they were both arrested and charged with possession of a firearm and aggravated burglary.

A firearm was found in a nearby garden and forensic evidence linked Mitchell to the scene and he was arrested in June on suspicion of possession of a firearm and aggravated burglary.

JAILED: Sacha Corsini from Kensington was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment.

DC Pembe Rayif from Haringey CID said: “This was an extremely terrifying ordeal for the victim in her own home and I hope she can draw some form of closure from the sentence and feel safe that the perpetrators are now in prison.

"The use of firearms will not be tolerated and I hope the sentence imposed gives a clear message to those members of the community who believe it is acceptable to carry and use firearms, and that it will reassure Haringey community of our ability to bring those involved in gun crime before the courts.”
