TWO young men accused of trying to kill someone in the shadow of Wembley Stadium have entered not guilty pleas.

Mergim Krasniqi, 19, of Victoria Avenue, Wembley, denied the attempted murder of Alfred Foster in Empire Way, Wembley, on September 24 last year and Mumin Malik, 23, of Crawford Street, Harlesden, denied the attempted murder and assisting an offender.

The pair appeared before Harrow Crown Court this morning and entered not guilty pleas.

Their three-week trial begins provisionally on August 11 back at the same court.

Krasniqi and Malik formerly of Hampden Road, Slough, Berkshire, were both granted a continuation of their bail.
