Two women have been killed in a crash outside a Catholic school in Sudbury Hill, Harrow.

Harrow police said a blue Renault Clio mounted the pavement and was in collision with two female pedestrians, who were later pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency services were called at 2.30pm today to the junction with Greenford Road, near St George Roman Catholic School.

The cars driver, a woman in her 70s, was airlifted to hospital, where she is said to be in a serious but stable condition.

Roads in the area have been closed and buses are on diversion.
