Hairdressers at a unique and popular salon in Pinner have been shortlisted for three separate prestigious awards

D&J Ambrose in Bridge Street, Pinner are 'thrilled' to have three of their hairdressers nominated for the Most Wanted and It List awards 2014.

Director, Darren Ambrose is nominated for the Most Wanted Creative Talent individual award, which will be awarded to a stylist who demonstrates exceptional skill and ability in all aspects of their career.

He said: "The team is going from strength to strength and to be shortlisted for three new awards is just incredible, I am really proud of our achievements and looking forward to the ceremony."

Now in its 13th year, the Most Wanted awards, which are judged by hair, fashion and business icons, and attract nominations from the beauty directors of leading magazines including InStyle, ELLE and Vogue, celebrate individuals and teams working in the £6 billion a year UK hairdressing industry.

European Technical Artistic Director, Abby Smith is nominated for the Most Wanted Colour Expert award which celebrates a senior colourist who displays a creative approach to colour both in the salon and on shoots.

She said: "I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to have been shortlisted for Most Wanted Colour Expert 2014. I am so grateful to have been recognised for the most hardworking and progressive year of my career to date."

And, finally Artistic Director, Luke Benson has been nominated for IT Guy in the It List Awards which showcases the hottest hairdressing talent under the age of 30, he said: "Being a finalist in the 'It Guy' category this year is an incredible feeling and took a while to sink in.

"To be seen as one of the top five up and coming guys under 30 in the industry, especially having been judged by industry icons is a huge honour. I am proud to be alongside the other finalists, and I wish them all luck in the final too."

The awards will take place on the September 1 at London’s Tate Modern hosted by comedian and actor Jack Whitehall.
