A diner who denied ejaculating in a Pizza Hut restaurant while allegedly having phone sex with a girl of just 14 will stand trial in January next year.

Hugh Reid appeared at Harrow Crown Court this morning for a preliminary hearing ahead of his trial.

One of the charges relates to an alleged incident in January 2007, at Pizza Hut in Leisure way, Finchley, in north London.

Prosecution solicitor Graham Blower agreed with Judge John Anderson that prosecution papers will be served by July 18, with a defence statement due by August.

A plea and case management hearing will be held on September 11, and a four-day trial is scheduled for Janurary.

The alleged victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was 14 at the time and is now at university.

The 45-year-old, of Christchurch Road, south west London, has also previously denied two counts of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged between 13 and 15 in a car in Harrow with an alleged victim aged 14 between March 1 2007 and February 28 2008.

In past hearings he has also denied one count of engaging in non-penetrative sexual activity by kissing a 14-year-old girl on the cheek in a sexual way in a branch of chicken restaurant Nando’s in a leisure park Finchley, north London at some time between December 1 2006 and January 31 2007.
