I HAVE read in recent editions of the Chronicle examples of open spaces in the borough suffering from neglect.
I thought l would bring this discussion a bit closer to home for our Conservative council.
The Conservative Club in Gresham Road, Osterley, currently resembles a wildlife wilderness.
The children's play area is in such an appalling state that little ones would get lost in the long grass.
When one considers that the land and the new buildings were presented to the Conservative Club on a plate, one wonders whether members' back gardens are in a similar state of neglect.
On the other hand, is this an example of David Cameron's idea of good housekeeping? That is spend nothing, do nothing, and let everyone suffer.
Local residents are getting fed up with looking at this neglect. Please buck up your ideas before this jungle gets any worse.
