Hillingdon Council has been accused of forgetting to change the clocks forward this weekend, leaving motorists in limbo.

One driver, who asked not to be named, parked his car outside Nationwide building society in High Street, West Drayton on Monday, and when he bought a parking ticket he was left totally confused.

He said: "I parked up and bought a ticket at quarter to one, yet the time on the ticket said it expires at 12.44pm, it was completely worthless.

"It seems to me the council may have forgotten to change the clocks forward, I just wonder how many other people have been caught out and even had fines because of this."

Hillingdon Council said that they had changed the times on all machines on Sunday, but admitted it was possible they had missed one, and promised to correct the erroneous meter.
