Three victims of a tragic car collision which involved a lorry and a Subaru Impreza have finally been identified.

On Monday, October 23, last year a Subaru Impreza car carrying three men hit the central reservation on the A406 North Circular Road before colliding with a lorry travelling in the opposite direction and then catching on fire.

The driver of the Subaru Jawad Qureshi, 28, of Headstone Drive, Harrow died from multiple injuries as well as his uncle who was also in the car, Haider Qureshi, 28, of Westfield Close, Collindale.

The other passenger, Toheed Robani, 34, Litchfield Gardens, Dollis Hill died from head injuries according to the post mortem that took place at Haringey Mortuary.

Police were called at around half past midnight to reports of a collision on the A406 North Circular Road and Bowes Road, close to the junction with Natal Road.

Police, London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade attended after a collision between a Subaru Impreza and a lorry.

Reports suggest that the Subaru was travelling westbound and hit the central reservation before colliding with the lorry travelling eastbound, the car then caught fire.

A Vauxhall Astra was also involved in the collision.

Two men were taken to hospital suffering from minor injuries, both were discharged and arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, they have since been bailed until a date in late February.

Officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit at Chadwell Heath Traffic Garage are investigating.
