Thirty people were evacuated from a Fulham office block after its roof set ablaze this afternoon (November 19).

Part of the roof on the two storey building in Sulivan Road has been damaged by the fire and luckily the thirty people in the building evacuated the block before London Fire Brigade got to the scene.

Smoke was reportedly seen pouring out of the roof before fire crews arrived.

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were fighting the fire after they were called at 1.53pm and managed to get the fire under control by 3.22pm.

Fire crews from Fulham , Battersea and Hammersmith fire stations battled the blaze.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
