Thank goodness for the Hounslow Chronicle keeping the Feltham Skills Centre project in the limelight.
However, I, like many, would like to hear the views of our local councillors, candidates for the next general election and the sitting member of parliament.
At the moment, all appear to be waiting for a golden opportunity to jump on a bandwagon should the Learning and Skills Council give the go-ahead for funding.
Feltham town centre has changed. It is more modern-looking and needs the Skills Centre to enhance it, but the silence of local politicians is so strange.
Labour were the driving force behind the modernisation of Feltham, the Conservatives know the value of education and the Liberal Democrats also want Feltham to move forward.
So let us not worry about the colour scheme on the front of the Skills Centre, let's hear some positive support from those politicians, who will be looking for votes in the coming months and years.
