I WANTED to contact the Harrow Observer to share with readers the lovely thing that happened to me at Harrow & Wealdstone train station the other day.
I was just going up the stairs when a man called up to me from the other side of the ticket barrier.
He had seen £100 drop out of my pocket on the pavement out-side and raced to pick it up and return it to me.
I had just then sold my car and the money I'd got for it means a lot to me as a mum with a young daughter.
I shook his hand over the barrier and said thank you, he was an Asian gentleman, seemingly in his early-fifties.
But I wanted to give my thanks again and say how much it had restored my faith in human nature.
It's so nice to know that there are still lovely people out there willing to help a stranger.
