Two teenage boys has been arrested by police investigating an attempted street robbery in Yiewsley.
The 15-year-old voluntarily attended a police station yesterday (Wednesday), and has been bailed pending further enquiries. The other, whose age is not known, was arrested this afternoon (Thursday) and will be questioned by officers.
On Tuesday, police made a public appeal for information about the incident, in which a 34-year-old woman was kicked in the face in the alleyway that runs from Trout Road into the car park behind the Tesco store in Cowley Road on November 30 last year.
Police say there were four individuals involved, who tried and failed to take her rucksack. She suffered minor injuries.
