A 19-year-old will stand trial for a string of offences including stealing more than £15,000 worth of jewellery and watches from homes across Hillingdon.

Alfie Joe Cawley is alleged to have burgled homes in West Drayton, Uxbridge and Harefield between October and November.

Cawley is accused of stealing jewellery and a passport to the value of £10,000 from a house in Holloway Lane, West Drayton on October 6.

He also allegedly stole watches worth £5,700 from a house in Churchill Avenue, Uxbridge on November 21 and an iPhone 4, a Samsung laptop and a Panasonic LED television from a house in Northwood Road, Harefield, that same day.

He will face two other charges of destroying a car he did not own without lawful excuse and of stealing items from a car on June 15 this year in Flamingo Park - a sports and leisure ground in Sidcup.

Cawley, of Pinehurst, Willow Grove, Chislehurst, has been remanded in custody and will go on trial at Isleworth Crown Court on Thursday, December 4.
