Hundreds of mourners lined Acton High Street yesterday to pay tribute to stabbed teenager Craig Marshall.

The 19-year-old's white coffin, draped in the flag of his beloved Arsenal, arrived at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in a carriage pulled by two white horses.

Many of the young mourners were friends of Craig from around the South Acton estate, who were shocked by his killing at Rufford

Tower in Acton on September 25. Close friend Skye Rahim, 17, said: "He was a good boy and he was there for a lot of people.

"We're not going to let him go today. I've got a lot of memories of him, we had some good times together.

"All the people here are all people who Craig would have wanted to be here."

Emotional tributes included a bouquet of flowers shaped like the bicycle on which Craig, of Meredith Tower, Hanbury Road, was often seen.

And a tribute from Craig's mother Sharon said: "To my Craigy boy. I miss you so much. You were an angel on earth and now you are an angel in heaven. Love you forever baby."

Craig's 18-year-old brother Aaron helped carry the coffin in to the church for the 10am service.

The burial took place later at Acton Cemetery.
