Dedicated staff who between them have worked for more than 330 years at schools across Hounslow have been honoured for their commitment.
A total of 11 teachers, teaching assistants and welfare support staff were recognised at the Teachers Long Service Awards last Tuesday (July 8).
The awards, held by Hounslow Council at the Civic Centre, in Lampton Road, Hounslow, recognise staff who have worked in schools for at least 30 years, including 15 years or more within the borough.
Councillor Tom Bruce, Hounslow's cabinet member for education, said: "As a teacher myself, it is incredibly inspiring to see such a wealth of experience being recognised.
"These people have dedicated their lives to helping thousands of children and young people reach their potential, and I'm delighted to be able to offer my thanks for their work."
