The amount of litter and dumped household goods on the streets of Hounslow is shocking.
We have a huge number of street cleaners working in the borough and they do a good job, on the whole, but we shouldn't need so many.
If people did not drop litter and took a bit of pride in where they lived, we would not have to employ so many workers to clear up after them.
And don't forget, these services are not free, we all pay for them through our council tax.
Please think before you discard litter and food in the streets. Not only does is look horrible, it's a health risk too.
