Last week, we called on our loyal readers to send their best pictures of W6 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Hammersmith Society.
And you didn't disappoint as we received a number of interesting images of your favourite Hammersmith monuments, roads, nooks and crannies.
Each week we'll be publishing the image that captures our imagination the most, but every picture sent in will be forwarded to the Hammersmith Society, which will put the top 50 on to a specially commissioned collage, which will be displayed at numerous public places across the town.
After much deliberation, Chronicle staff chose Bill Baker's sunset shot of Hammersmith Bridge, taken as he returned home from work last week.
Thanks to everyone who entered and we'll forward your pictures to society chairman Melanie Whitlock, who explained what she is after.
"It could be the view down the road as you set off for work, or a favourite river view or streetscene or house or shop. It could be a favourite spot in one of the parks or one of our heritage landmarks, like Hammersmith Bridge. Whatever the special places are, they will certainly be interesting, likeable and, no doubt, sometimes quirky. We want to log the places which local people hold near and dear."
* To enter, please email your pictures as JPGs at 300dpi to email@example.com. State your name, age, address and outline in three sentences why your picture and/or place is special to you.
