Two-thirds of sixth formers at Heston Community School have achieved A*-C grades in their A-levels.

Star student Eisha Garcha opened her brown envelope to reveal two A*s and an A in mathematics, psychology and biology.

Among the other top achievers at the school were Halaina Tak with 2A*s and B in history, sociology, English language and literature; Nikita Ahdi and Amarjot Rehal achieved 2As and 2Bs; and Jasleen Kaur who received an A*, A and a distinction in BTEC business studies.

Headteacher, Phil Ward, said, "I am very proud of our students who have worked so hard to achieve these outstanding results.

"I would also like to thank the students' parents whose support throughout their childrens' time at Heston and particularly in the build up to these important exams has been so important.

"Finally, I'd like to thank my superb teaching team whose enthusiasm and commitment has been crucial in achieving these impressive results.

"I wish the students every success in their chosen further studies and careers and look forward to hearing of their future successes."

The A*-C pass rate was 69 per cent, with an overall pass rate of 97.6 per cent.

The average point score per entry was 213.3.
