ALL 1,500 spaces in St Luke's Hospice's Midnight Walk - a through-the-night women's only sponsored walk starting at midnight tomorrow - have been filled.

The female fundraisers wear special pink T-shirt and complete a loop beginning and ending at Harrow Leisure Centre in Christchurch Avenue, Wealdstone, following fun en masse warm-up.

It is the Kenton Grange, Kenton, charity's biggest single fund-earning event of the year - more than £209,000 in sponsorship came flowing in thanks to participants last year.

Beena Patel, direct marketing and PR manager, said: "St Luke’s Midnight Walk is officially sold out. 1,500 have registered and we are at full capacity.

"No one will be able to register on the night.

"This message will avoid ladies coming on the night and getting disappointed."

The circular route takes in Harrow Weald, Stanmore, Kingsbury and Kenton and is nine miles long, with marshals and volunteers posted along the route.

Walkers should finish the loop in between two and four-and-a-half hours in the middle of the night.
