Year 13 students at St Helen's School in Northwood have achieved excellent A-level results.

An impressive 56 per cent of results were A* or A grade, 85 per cent were A* to B, and 96 per cent were A* to C, with an overall pass rate of 100%.

All our the school's sixth form leavers plan to go to university to study a wide range of subjects including engineering, medicine, sciences, languages and humanities subjects.

Dr Mary Short, Headmistress of St Helen’s School said: “I am very pleased for all our girls who have worked extremely hard to achieve such good results.

“I am particularly pleased that the grades awarded will enable the girls to study the best courses at outstanding universities and would like to congratulate all our pupils - and their supportive parents -and wish year 13 all the best for transition to higher education.

“I hope they will maintain their links with St Helen’s as they progress through Higher Education and into their careers.”

Other schools across the north of the borough are celebrating record breaking results, including Northwood College for Girls and Northwood School.
