SHOPPERS and staff at a supermarket teamed up to take part in a flash mob dance to help raise money for Sport Relief.

Customers were being given branded T-shirts if they joined in on the dancing at the entrance of Sainsbury’s in Kenton.

Fitness fanatics were able to join in on the routine every hour for the whole day or they could burn off some calories on a treadmill and exercise bike placed at the entrance of the store in Nash Way.

The store’s PR ambassador Angela Mistry said: “It was such a fun day, everyone dressed up.

“There were loads of activities going on, the staff and the customers were great.”

Overall the store raised £6,500 over the Sport relief weekend which took place on Friday and Saturday.
