STILT walkers entertained guests at a Feltham fun day to mark the success of an arts project.

The Oriel Residents' Group invited families to the Hanworth estate on Sunday, to celebrate the Rainbow Project, which funds arts, dance, drama and music in conjunction with the Feltham Arts Association.

Mayor Colin Ellar joined in the fun and unveiled a mosaic mural, while the art group made costumes and banners for a carnival parade around the Oriel Estate.

Ruth Wood, programme development manager at the arts association, said: "A big thank you goes to Eddie Byrne and Tina Howe from the Oriel Residents' Group, for all their support throughout the year and ensuring these educational arts activities continue into the future."
