WEST London charity Green Corridor is on the search for aspiring gardeners in Southall to turn a neglected allotment in Manor Way into a productive community growing space.
The charity’s aim is to create a small oasis in Southall that can be used to deliver land based activities to young people and the community but volunteer are needed to make the project a reality.
The group is already holding a regular Friday afternoon session and has a number of Saturdays booked in over the coming weeks.
No experience is necessary, and the group can provide tools, tea, coffee and advice for enthusiastic people who want to get stuck in.
