Harinder Rattan was fatally stabbed on Clarence Street in Southall on Sunday night January 4.

The 41-year-old was found injured and collapsed on the road where he lived, close to midnight on Sunday.

He was taken to a west London hospital but was pronounced dead at 1.10am on Monday.

A post-mortem examination held on Tuesday at Fulham Mortuary found the cause of death to be multiple stab wounds.

Four men were intially arrested and three of them Shamaun Salhotra, 29, Sanjay Salhotra, 26 and Inderjit Bhachu, 27, all residents of Clarence Street, have now been charged with the murder of Mr Rattan.

A 20-year-old who was arrested on Monday on suspicion of murder has been bailed to a date in mid January. The three men charged with murder appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Clarence Street is where Kate Middleton’s grandparents used to live with her mother Carole Middleton (nee Goldsmith) who used to attend what is now called Featherstone High School.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are currently investigating and enquires continue.
