As someone who signed the nomination paper for Lord Soley when he was still an MP standing for election in 2001, I am appalled to read that the one time representative for Ealing, Acton and Shepherd's Bush supports the Heathrow expansion.

Residents of his former constituency in Acton and Ealing can expect, according to HACAN, to have planes flying over their heads every 90 seconds as the flight path routes will be directly over this area.

Is the disruption of people's lives, combined with the extra emissions from the planes really a price his former constituents should have to pay?
