AS A Year Six teacher, I felt I had to register my complaint about the total and utter incompetence over the return of the Key Stage Two results.
This is the first year that results haven't been returned on time - in fact in the past we have always had papers and scores back before the end of June.
What really was so wrong with the old system, especially with the carbon paper results sheet?
It worked, this system most clearly doesn't.
We have children and parents anxiously waiting for their results, as well as teachers and our colleagues in the secondary schools.
It might not seem a long delay to the National Assesment Agency and the Government, but for all of us involved in schools it certainly is.
Everyone has worked very hard, only to be let down by (and I have to repeat) total and utter incompetence. Frankly, it is not good enough.
I'm sure I speak on behalf of many teachers within the borough, and I suspect that the NAA will have received many such emails and letters!
