More than 50 schools across Harrow borough have closed today as snow has caused disruption to tube travel and the roads across the borough.
Nearly 10cm of snow has fallen in parts of London and severe weather warnings have been issued.
Gritting teams worked throughout the night in Harrow, but because of heavy snow showers most schools are closed, including Hatch End High School, in Headstone Lane, Nower Hill High School, in George V Avenue, and Harrow High School, in Gayton Road. For a full list see below.
Tube services on the Metropolitan line from Harrow on the Hill to Amersham and Chesham have been suspended and there are severe delays on the rest of the line.
The Jubilee line is also suspended between Stanmore and Waterloo, with severe delays on the rest of the line. While Bakerloo line services are suspended between Queens Park and Harrow and Wealdstone.
London overground is also suffering delays and the entire bus network has been suspended
Access Harrow at the civic centre is also shut and other council services are disrupted, with the revenues and benefits section closed.
However adult day care services are open, but Harrow council are asking residents to contact schools and adult services directly for more information.
